Mac Photos: Organizing Your Pictures

Your photos are one of your most precious possessions. We will explore the app and how it can help you work with all your photos in the most efficient way. You will need to bring your charged, Mac laptop and a mouse (if you use one) to class.

iPads and iPhones CANNOT be used for this class.

Lesson 1

● Explore the many parts of the Photos app including the new Apple Intelligence features. ● Deleting albums ● How to use “Search” to find specific pictures ● Create albums and add photos to them. ● How to choose “Favorites”. ● Naming people in a photo for easier access. ● Remove and rearrange photos in an album. ● Deleting albums.

Lesson 2

● The difference between an album and a folder ● Creating folders. ● Remove and/or rearrange albums in a folder ● How to merge duplicate photos ● Using “search” to find photos ● How to find information about your photo (where & when it was taken, add captions and more) ● Projects you can create
