Email Basics

Students are encouraged to bring their Email account information (email name and password) to class.
You can open an email and read it, or maybe you don’t even have an account. In this class, you will learn the basic features of email, how to recognize an email address, read, reply to, and compose email. You will learn about attachments: how to attach a file and download an attachment. You will learn about creating and adding contacts to an address book. email etiquette, and email security will also be discussed. If you do not have an email, you will create a Gmail account. If you have any email account already (e.g, Gmail, Optimum, Outlook, AOL, Yahoo), bring the name of the account and the password with you.
