iPhone: What’s Next
2 sessions of 2.5 hours each
Students are encouraged to bring their charged iPhone to class.
Prerequisite: iPhone: Getting Started or comparable skills
Expand your knowledge of the iPhone’s capabilities. Subjects covered are using the iPhone’s Camera and Photo Apps; using Siri (let your iPhone do the typing and some of the work); Maps (get directions); and using productivity apps such as the Calendar. The class finishes with an introduction to Apple’s iCloud, Find My and the Health App. This two-lesson class expands your knowledge of the iPhone and will make you feel like a Pro.
Lesson 1: The Camera & Photo App
When world-famous photographer Annie Leibovitz was asked in an interview what kind of camera people should buy, she responded, “An iPhone.” This session will help explain why she said that. Ease of use is one reason. You will learn how to share pictures with friends and family and find and organize your photos in the Photos App.
Lesson 2: Siri, Maps, Calendar, Health App, iCloud & Find My
Get tips on using Siri, Maps, and Calendar Apps. Learn about iCloud and Find My and why it’s important to you. Have fun with Siri, Apple’s assistant. Learn to use Maps and discover the Health App to set up your Health Profile and Emergency Contact.
